It’s been a while since I’ve shared a personal update, and honestly, this season has reminded me how important it is to pause long enough to reflect on the life you’re building while you’re busy building it.
In April, my family and I traveled to Mexico for a wedding, and it was the first time in a long time that the four of us truly unplugged together. Between business, travel, and the pace of everyday life, those moments of being fully present with my husband and our boys felt incredibly grounding. It reminded me that no matter how ambitious we are, family is still the center of everything.
Just a few days later, I was back on a plane heading to Dallas for the Unstoppable Success Summit. Being in rooms with powerful women, visionary leaders, and dear friends—including Missy Ashton, Brooke Hemingway, Christina Deering, Amberly Lago, Cheryl Wood, and Jordan Reynolds—reignited so much creativity and alignment within me. There’s something special about being surrounded by people who challenge you to think bigger while also reminding you who you are.
In the middle of all of that, I had the opportunity to complete the final phase of Kassi Bernard’s visual brand identity journey with a photoshoot we had been planning for months. Watching her step confidently into this next season as an author, with clarity and intention, was a beautiful reminder of why I love the work I do. Helping women align how they feel internally with how they show up externally will always be my life’s work.
The first cohort of the Empire Mastermind, in collaboration with Michelle and Elyse Archer, is coming to an end, and we’ll be kicking off our second Empire Retreat in just a few weeks in Charlotte, North Carolina. It has been incredible to watch the growth, transformation, and connections that have taken place within this community. For more information about the upcoming retreat, click here.
Many of you may not know this, but I’ve been working on the creation of a children’s book with my dear friend, Missy Ashton. This book is inspired by my life and the lessons that shaped me along the way. It contains messages that have the power to inspire young girls, moms, aunts, and grandmothers alike. We are getting very close to completion, and I can’t wait to share more with you in the near future.
I’m also continuing to work with my Signature Style clients through my most popular styling service. I currently have a few spots available for women who are ready to elevate their wardrobe and align their internal gifts with their external presence. And then came one of the biggest moments of all—my youngest son, Will, graduated from high school.
I still can’t believe I can officially say I have no more children in high school. Watching him walk across that stage was emotional in the best way. It reminded me that success isn’t just about what you build professionally—it’s also about being present enough to witness the people you love becoming who they’re meant to be.
This season has been full, inspiring, emotional, and deeply grounding all at once.
More than anything, it has reminded me that the most meaningful kind of success is creating a life you’re truly present for.
